I never mind the journey *to* Whitby, it's the journey *back* that's really painful. On more than one occasion I've had to go stay with my parents rather than attempt the whole arduous trip!
Having nothing to wear is not really a problem but a reason to go shopping ;)
We aren't going and are cutting November Whitby short as well this year as we are going on jolly holidays again instead...the plan is (now my motorway virginity is well and truly a thing of the past) to go and inflict ourselves see people throughout the year instead :)
