Sore Eyes and too much glare

Had a fab meal out with M&D last night, Nepalese restaurant, wonderful food and rather over friendly waiters - I was just waiting for Dad to explode at one of them - he decided to tell Dad that he had fallen in love with me because of my dimples!!
The only shame is that Col couldn't make it - but them's the breaks.
Oh well, Moot 1 this weekend - I get to be Solace again for a bit which should be fun, and get to play with Chi - you know what I mean, so don't get all smutty at me! (There you go Matt there is your first plug!) I am really looking forward to playing her again, very odd as I couldn't wait to get rid of her before (knowing my luck she will now die horribly just to prove a point!)
OK, OK, so I am talking about her as a separate entity to me which is always a good conundrum.
I have never written a paper in my life and am really having problems getting started - I know the sort of things I want to be saying but keep getting overwhelmed by the thought that the people I am going to be presenting to will know far more about it than me and that I will be shown up as a fraud (although I'm not)
So mad ramblings galore - there are more and more people I know on here which in a way makes me more self-conscious about what I post, the main problem that I have is lack of time - I spend all day looking at this screen and so doing stuff on a computer from home is the last thing on earth that I want to do.
I will leave this now as otherwise people will not believe that it is me typing so much into my journal!
