From Terfel to Depp is an interesting step - they are the only two people I have seen in the eponymous role. Terfel definitely has the better singing voice, Depp wins in just about every other way - especially as there is a reunion of the unholy trinity of Depp, Burton and Bonham-Carter.

Good weekend overall - Quiet Saturday, dinner out Saturday evening with Col's family - with me getting to drive the Hyundai Coupe for the first time on the way home.

Sunday was time with Dad, the above mentioned musical extravaganza and a (relatively) early night.

Monday strikes again with full force.

Today is allegedly the most depressing day of the year - this story seems to have skipped a few years, I am sure that I last heard about it in the news a while ago...

Other than the powercut that made me wake up incredibly late (like, over 2 hours late), I'm feeling fine. Though maybe that's because I got an additional 2 hours sleep :D
